Can I register a trademark in Russia not being a Russian citizen?

Yes, you can. A trademark owner can be an individual without Russian citizenship as well as entrepreneurs and organizations registered in China.

How much does it cost to register a trademark in Russia?

The cost consists of 2 parts: government fees and our services. The government fees are $490 (€430). The price for our services (turnkey trademark registration) is $440 (€400).

How long does registration take?

Our clients usually receive the trademark certificate within 6 months from the date of filing the application. Some of them receive it earlier, in 2–3 months. The others receive their certificate later, in 8–9 months. According to the internal regulations of Rospatent, registration can take up to 18.5 months.

What if Rospatent refuses to register my trademark? Will I receive my money back?

In case of refusal, we will return you the full cost of our services. This condition is stipulated in the contract.

How long is trademark registration valid?

Trademark registration is valid for 10 years. After this period, the registration can be extended.
